Perched gracefully on a sterling silver ring, the wings of the butterfly were sawed by hand from 18 gauge sterling silver with a jewelry saw and hammered on a dapping block to create the half open appearance of a mid wing beat, while contributing a sense of dimension. The ring shank was cut from thick 16 gauge sterling silver for a sturdy feel, soldered together at the seam using silver solder an acetylene torch, and formed to perfection over a steel mandrel. Placed in the center, a green bullet shaped Peridot measuring 5mm wide by 5 mm cases a warm green glow that blends with the radiance of polished sterling silver.

The wings measure about 1 inch wide and the ring can be ordered to fit any ring size by entering your sizing requests in the Paypal notes or by sending me a contact message.
